THE PRACTITIONER'S PATH FALL 2026 | LEHI, UT

this isn't just a certification, it's a transformation

A five-day immersive mentorship in trauma-informed acoustic facilitation, co-led by a somatic therapist and a clinical nurse practitioner*. This isn't where you learn to play instruments, this is where you learn how to change lives.

Practitioners Path Training

OUR PHILOSOPHY

A wellness retreat that makes you practitioner by the end.

Most trainings hand you a manual and call it mastery. The Practitioner's Path works differently. Over five days, you'll move through your own nervous system before you're ever asked to hold space for someone else's.

The inner work and the skill-building aren't separate tracks – they're woven into every hour of the week.

This is not a lecture series. It's an immersion designed to feel like a retreat, structured to build advanced facilitation skills and practitioner confidence, and paced so you have time to absorb what you're learning in your body, not just your mind.

You'll receive private sound sessions, practice with world-class instruments, facilitate for others, and leave with the confidence to facilitate sound-based wellness experiences.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

not another sound healing course

We don't teach "sound healing." We teach applied acoustic facilitation – with the rigor, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed methodology that the field has been missing.

CLINICAL FACULTY

A somatic therapist & a nurse practitioner in the room*

Your mentors aren't just instrumentalists. Jessa brings somatic facilitation and nervous system education.

Natalie brings advanced nursing experience and instrument mastery. Together, they teach from a foundation no single-discipline training can offer.

THE INSTRUMENTS

Crystal Tones® Alchemy Bowls – from the source

You won't practice on generic quartz bowls. You'll train on Crystal Tones® Alchemy Singing Bowls®  the finest crystal instruments in the field.

One day of the retreat includes a visit to Crystal Tones® World (their largest showroom) for an opportunity to purchase your own set to take home with you.

METHODOLOGY

Acoustic facilitation, not sound healing

We don't teach you to channel anything. We teach you to read a nervous system, select instruments with clinical intention, structure sessions using our SAFE Sound Framework, and track whether what you're doing is actually working.

This is precision, not performance.

TRAUMA INFORMED

The nervous system comes first*

Before you touch an instrument, you'll be introduced to foundational nervous system concepts such as Polyvagal theory, window of tolerance, co-regulation, and your own somatic patterns.

Most trainings skip this entirely. We build the entire week on it – because you cannot hold space you don't understand in your own body.

FORMAT

Retreat quality, professional depth

The week is designed to nourish you, not drain you.

Expect curated meals, spa services, and spacious integration time alongside rigorous hands-on learning.

Helping you return home restored, not depleted from five days of content overload.

COMMUNITY

Small, intimate cohort. No lecture halls.

This isn't a conference workshop with fifty strangers. With a small cohort and plenty of support facilitators, you get direct mentorship from both faculty, real-time feedback on your facilitation.

This is the kind of attention that can only come from a room small enough to hold.

Sonavé trainings are educational programs designed to teach sound-based facilitation skills for wellness and professional development. This program does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic licensure, and participants are responsible for practicing within their own professional scope and local regulations.

Sound-based practices taught in this program are intended to support relaxation and nervous system awareness and are not a substitute for medical or mental health care.

Scope of Training

THE VENUE

world class wellness at the brick canvas

Our retreat programming is held at The Brick Canvas, a wellness facility in the heart of Thanksgiving Point where your week includes access to massage, spa treatments, sauna, cold plunge, and movement classes. This isn't filler between sessions. It's how we protect your nervous system across five days of deep work.

And when you need space, you have it. Thanksgiving Point spans 55 acres of gardens, walking paths, and open air – with the Butterfly Biosphere, Farm Country, and the Museum of Ancient Life all within walking distance. The kind of place where integration happens without you trying.

You can see more about The Brick Canvas here.

Spa Facial Massage

A REAL RETREAT

spa & wellness services included

We support your learning by giving you time to integrate your experience throughout the week – not just when you get back home.

MORE THAN A TRAINING

you'll be nourished, not just educated

We designed this week for people who give constantly – bodyworkers, therapists, practitioners, caregivers. You shouldn't have to run on empty to learn something new.

The Practitioner's Path includes the space and care to actually restore you while you train.

Expect delicious, curated meals, dedicated wellness time built into every day, and an environment that feels more like a luxury retreat than a classroom. When you leave, you'll be more resourced than when you arrived – not less.

NOURISHMENT

Curated meals and thoughtful nutrition throughout the week, designed to sustain, not stress.

INTEGRATION

Solo reflection time, journaling, and quiet hours – because the body needs space to absorb what the mind is learning

who this is for

The Practitioner's Path isn't for everyone – and that's by design. This immersion is built for people who want to practice acoustic therapy with clinical integrity.

Licensed bodyworkers, massage therapists, and somatic practitioners who want to add acoustic therapy to their clinical practice with proper methodology.

Mental health professionals, counselors, and therapists interested in trauma-informed sound facilitation as a complement to their existing modalities.

Yoga and meditation teachers who want to move beyond ambient background music and learn to facilitate sound sessions with a proven wellness structure.

Nurses, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals drawn to integrative approaches grounded in evidence and nervous system science.

Experienced sound practitioners who are self-taught or trained elsewhere and want to formalize their methodology with a trauma-informed, clinically–informed framework.
